The leakage testers of the PRO HL series are leak detectors that are operated with helium or a helium mixture and determine the leakage according to the pressure drop principle. This is a suitable and inexpensive method for relatively slow measurements.
For fast measurements on many specimens, the leakage teser series PRO dP is available.
A precision pressure regulator is installed in the PRO HL leakage tester, which converts the electronically preselected pressure unit into a pneumatic pressure with the highest accuracy. The test specimen is evacuated by the leak detector. The helium pressure from the control device is then connected to the test object, the connection to the test object is shut off and the pressure drop is measured on the test object. Using special software, the leakage value is then calculated in the built-in microcontroller. The devices can be delivered tailored to different pressure ranges. Pressures up to 200 bar can be set in the standard version.
The system pressure indicator shows the measured value at the pressure sensor and, after the leakage test, the leakage value. The pressure preset signal is represented by the internal microcontroller or is passed to it as an external analog preset voltage. The actual pressure value is measured with a high-precision pressure sensor, the characteristic curve is corrected and scaled by the microcontroller and then prepared for the output via interface to a PC or an automation device. The device already has a USB interface in the standard version. Other available options include RS232, CAN, Ethernet and RS485. Communication can be provided in all common protocols.
The leakage tester is delivered with a standard program with which customer-specific program sequences for leak measurement can be created. The device can also be operated as a pressure controller. The processes can be stored on the leak detector. This makes an individual test sequence possible without a PC.
Suitability: The PRO HL is only suitable for operation with gaseous non-aggressive and non-flammable media such as helium.
